TRAFFORD Council has announced that a major water burst on Brooklands Road, Sale, at its junction with Norris Road, may cause considerable traffic problems in the area.

United Utilities have installed temporary traffic signal on Brooklands Road at the junction of Norris Road. Brooklands Road is still open to all traffic but access to Norris Road is via signed diversions.

The works are expected to be completed by Friday.

I expect that when the watermain is repaired the road surface will be just another addition to the bumpyness of Brooklands Rd.one of the worst in the area!
