TRAFFORD Council is urging residents to register to vote in May's local elections ahead of the deadline in April.
One of three seats is up for election in each of the borough's wards, but only residents registered to their current address by April 14 are allowed to vote, whether in person, by post or by proxy.
Sara Todd, returning officer for Trafford Council, said: "Time is running out to make sure you can take part in these elections.
"They are an important opportunity to make your voice heard and have a say on who represents you on issues that directly affect day-to-day life here in Trafford. If you’re not registered by 14 April, you won’t be able to vote."
