A bakery based at Altrincham Market is celebrating after it was shortlisted for two awards at the 'Bakery Oscars'.
Lovingly Artisan was shortlisted for New Bakery Product of the Year and Speciality Bakery Product of the year at this year's Baking Industry Awards (BIAs).
The bakery based at Altrincham Market, as well as at a site on the outskirts of Kendal, Cumbria, specialises in breads under the exacting eye of Aidan Monks.
The product shortlisted for New Bakery Product of the Year is its Chocolate Malt and Orange Bread, which is up against a 'Cube Croissant' and a 'Super Loaf'.

And the product shortlisted for Speciality Bakery Product of the Year is its Danish Rugbrød (Rye Bread), which is up against a Chia Rye from a bakery in London and a Red Rye from a bakery in Yorkshire.
The results of these categories and the other categories are set to be announced at an event in London in November.
Mr Monks said: "It is an honour to be shortlisted alongside the other finalists in this year’s BIAs.
"The BIAs are the biggest event in the baking industry calendar and provide a stage to recognise the achievements and skills of the whole industry and it is fabulous we have been shortlisted in two categories."
